Message from the Acting Superintendent
Welcome to Dubai International Private School,
Dear Students, parents, and Staff,
Welcome to a new academic year at Dubai International School- Al Garhoud. I hope you
return refreshed, inspired, and ready for another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
As we begin 2026-2027, we renew our commitment to providing an educational experience that
prepares every student to thrive and contribute meaningfully in the future. Our priorities are
aligned with Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) Strategy, with its emphasis on learner-centered
education, wellbeing, lifelong learning, innovation, and a world-class educational experience.
Building on our achievements and commitment to educational excellence and continuous
improvement, we focus on three key priorities:
1. Educational Excellence, empowerment, and continuous improvement
Academic excellence remains at the heart of our school. We will continue strengthening our
concept-based teaching and learning model, deepen reading research, critical thinking,
problem solving, communication, and higher order thinking, and ensure students understand,
apply, and transfer their learning into authentic contexts.
2. Future-Ready, Innovative Learning and Global Citizenship
In keeping with E33’s vision, we will further personalize learning by recognizing students’
individualstrength, needs, interests, and aspirations. Technology, AI, digital platforms, and data
will be used purposefully and responsibly to enhance learning, while preparing students to
navigate and shape an ever-changing world and nurturing students who are proud of the UAE
and respectful of its values, and culture
3. Student Wellbeing,Inclusion, and Belonging
We believe that student wellbeing is fundamental to learning success. We will continue
fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student feels valued,
respected, connected, and heard. Our approach is to support students’ academic, physical, social,
and emotional wellbeing while strengthening student voice, agency, resilience, leadership,
positive relationships, and a sense of belonging
